    The two AC outputs of the Victron Quattro inverter were used to power Essential and Non-Essential loads respectively. Essential loads will remain on in the event of a utility power failure but Non-Essential loads will switch off. In practice this will extend battery life in the event of a utility outage because only loads that are deemed essential by the customer will be draining the precious battery power.
