Freedom Won is a South African manufacturer of LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries based up in the Gauteng province. VAC Solar is proud to have formed part of Freedom Won’s distribution network since 2017.

Freedom Won’s LiTE (Lithium-To-Energy) technology incorporates the highest quality LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells with an advanced BMS (battery management system) and protection features, ensuring an ultra-safe battery with high power capabilities.

Their LiTE batteries are packaged in a high-quality compact and attractive aluminium enclosure with integrated heavy duty protection circuit breaker, SOC (state of charge) display and power cables, allowing for quick and easy installation and safety peace of mind. The advanced BMS allows for hassle free plug-and-play commissioning with most inverter brands. Extensive size/capacity options allow the designer to select a single unit to satisfy the storage capacity needs for the system thus simplifying installation and commissioning and resulting in a compact, safer, neater solution. If however an existing system needs expansion, Freedom Won’s batteries are stackable up to 20 units of the same size in a master slave configuration.

Freedom Won’s LiFePO4 range includes from the smallest 12V, 7.5Ah battery all the way up to the 800kWh HV (High Voltage) models.

The LiTE range of 52V batteries are specifically suited for residential and light commercial solar PV (Photovoltaic) system applications. The small 5kWh up to 20kWh models are slim and compact for either floor standing or wall mounting. The 30kWh upwards are floor standing units only.

Freedom Won also includes a range of HV battery models. These HV batteries are best suited for larger 3-phase commercial and industrial applications which allows for the easy installation of larger systems as well as more efficient operation with fewer losses at high output power.
